The download and storage of data from meters are two key processes in the daily operation of utilities. The growth of these companies, in terms of the number of meters that must be managed daily, is a factor that can affect the performance of data collection systems causing delays in company processes.

In response to that, PrimeStone has made changes in the architecture of its solutions allowing the incorporation of technologies such as microservices and open source applications that contribute to obtaining a high performance software.

This allows data management asynchronously by downloading data and re-calling calls simultaneously. On the other hand, a service in charge of reading the messaging queue is used for the data storage function, sending this data to microservices that each perform a specific task. This architecture has been integrated with some of our clients, allowing them to significantly reduce the time of data capture and its storage on their devices.
