The 2017 DistribuTECH Conference was an excellent show that allowed our PrimeStone team to connect with utility industry representatives through both exhibiting with a booth and sponsorship. PrimeStone, once again sponsored the AMI track for all attendees. This track was dynamic and well attended with many excellent presentations and speakers.
The San Diego Convention Center was packed with dynamic companies and utilities engaged in demonstrations and conversations around industry technology breakthroughs and best practices. Many utility attendees stopped by the PrimeStone booth to talk about our Meter Data Collection solution as well as the analytics modules that we have in the marketplace.
There were several key people from our global headquarters attending the conference: the global CEO and co - founder of PrimeStone, Carlos Guevara, our Business Development Director, Carlos Ibanez and the Product Manager VP, Jorge Vargas. From our North American Company’s headquarters, we had Andy Schechter, our North American CEO, and Jon Scott, the Sales Director for the Eastern part of the USA and Canada.
Many of the popular topics this year focused on metering, market strategies and technology, data analytics, DER, DR, Distribution Automation, Internet of things/Smart Cities, and microgrids.
PrimeStone conducted a meeting with 20 of our sales channel representatives for the United States and Canada. This meeting was very successful and allowed us to share interesting news about our products and services as well as the 2017 development roadmap with these important partners.
